rebecca + chris | backyard and nasher sculpture center wedding by carter

Rebecca and Chris held their beautiful Dallas wedding ceremony in Rebecca’s childhood home. Rebecca’s mom painted a beautiful Monet inspired aisle, their lush green backyard was filled with flowers from Garden Gate and the people they loved. The Nasher Sculpture Garden reception featured Lucy Wruble to keep everyone dancing and having fun, and great lighting by Beyond. The brides cake was a family strawberry cake recipe prepared by Sugar Bee Sweets and the grooms cake was by La Duni. DFW Events did a wonderful job coordinating this one and keeping everything running smoothly.

alli + rob | filter building wedding by carter

Spring weddings are some of my favorites. The weather is beautiful and cool, the colors are bright, and people are happy to be out of winter! Marsha and her team from Stardust Celebrations did a great job putting together Alli and Rob’s inside/outside wedding celebration at the Filter Building on White Rock Lake. Marcus Rollins was the MC, Delicious Cakes held true to their name, and Anita Haar with Elan Makeup made sure everyone’s hair and makeup looked absolutely perfect. Congratulations Allison and Rob!

kelley + drew – dallas arboretum wedding by carter

This year has already been incredible! I really truly can not have asked for better couples to work with and Kelley and Drew are no exception. The whole process with these two has been delightful and I am so proud to show off their pictures now. From the first few minutes we sat down together months ago I’ve been looking forward to their wedding. They picked two great venues – for the ceremony they chose Park Cities Baptist Church and for the reception they chose the Dallas Arboretum. The tulips were out in full bloom, the forecasted rain stayed away and everyone was full of life and joy as Kelley and Drew committed their lives together! Thank you to Evie Cozart of Evco Events for making the day run so smoothly, Missy Richardson for doing a wonderful job on hair and makeup, Lighting and Videography by A Very Special Day, Garden Gate Floral for the beautiful flowers that complemented the arboretum so nicely and The Motion Band for helping everyone have a great time! annie + matt – perkins chapel wedding and sheraton reception | by carter

I’ve had a blast working with Annie and Matt for the last few months. I knew from our first meeting that this was going to be a great wedding to shoot. Thank you to Micki Novak of Dream Weddings who did a wonderful job planning and executing the day. Debby Jewesson of Branching Out Floral made the beautiful arrangements you see here, Lauren Kitchens of Fancy Cakes by Lauren made an absolutely gorgeous bride’s cake and the best looking helmet cake I’ve ever seen! Brian Prescott from Simply Music kept the party cranking and Candle Light Films was a delight to shoot beside. The ceremony was held at Perkins Chapel and the reception was at the Sheraton Dallas.
