claire + james four seasons las colinas wedding

The first time I met Claire I instantly knew I really wanted to photograph her wedding. Her charm and spirit came through so quickly and I could easily imagine all of the great moments that would surround her on the wedding day. Good people make great photography subjects. It’s really pretty simple, if you are a quality human who is fun to be around you attract other quality humans who are fun to be around. When a lot of those types of people get in a room on a fun day like a wedding (throw in a little dancing and maybe a drink or two) you end up with a photographers best case scenario. When I got to meet James at their engagement session I knew I had it made. By the time this wedding rolled around I had literally been looking forward to it for months and it met and exceeded every expectation I had. Another plus on this one, besides Claire and James being so easy to photograph, was that they had assembled a really wonderful team to help make sure everything went off without a hitch. I wanted to say thank you to Kym Skiles for shooting with me, Marsha French and the Team at Stardust Celebrations for planning and executing the day, The Four Seasons Dallas for continually being a wonderful place to work out of so frequently, Anita Brown with Elan Makeup Studio for bringing out everyone’s natural beauty,  and the Wonders Band and Marcus Rollins for keeping the energy high and the dance floor full.
