I always feel sad for my photographer friends who live in areas of the country that don’t do much (or any) bridal sessions. Here in the South, these sessions are a right of passage and we’re very steeped in this tradition. It’s a great opportunity for the bride to see if she likes the hair and makeup she has planned for the big day or to see if she might want to change any aspect of her veil or dress. I really love doing bridal photography, it’s always satisfying to make truly beautiful portraits of our brides and it’s a great opportunity to create some really great art. I particularly like to take the images in locations that mean something to the bride. This gorgeous bride told me she wanted to do something with a train if at all possible. Voila! These were taken aboard a vintage train in Grapevine, Texas which played off her insanely cool Melissa Sweet dress and amazing hair done by Sonia Trevino!
